County Budgeting Matters
County Budgeting Matters (CBM) is a periodic in-depth review of critical issues related to Cuyahoga County's budget and its impact on health, social, and economic conditions. Links to previous CBMs are provided below.
Cuyahoga County residents have supported Health and Human Services in Cuyahoga County for over 70 years. With over $230 million spent annually from not just one, but two different Health and Human Service levies that money is split 30 different ways. In this County Budgeting Matters, William Tarter, Jr. explores the current revenue generated from the levies, explains some of the services offered by various agencies that receive money from HHS levy dollars, as well as upcoming challenges to Health and Human Services in the coming years.
