Using data tables:
- The resulting data page will identify the program category and geographic area/s you are viewing.
- Within the data tables, it is important to identify the program size categories.
- Programs are divided into relative size categories based on Operating Revenues.
Operating Revenues =
Program Service Revenues
+ Contribution Revenues
+ Membership Dues
- The first table column is Quartile. All Ohio organizations in each program type with operating revenues greater than zero were divided into four equal categories.
- Those organizations reporting zero operating revenues were placed into a fifth category of unequal size, which is located below the quartiles in the data table.
- The second and third columns, labeled Low Range and High Range, indicate the dividing points for the size categories.
- The fourth column, Frequency, indicates how many organizations in each size category are located in the geographic area.
- Depending on the geographic area you have chosen, there may or may not be equal numbers of organizations in each size category.
- If there are no organizations of a size category in the area, the quartile and its range will not be shown within the table.
- Remaining columns in the table are averages for the financial variables you chose to display.
