The Center for Community Solutions will develop and advocate for a policy framework that addresses the need to adequately and appropriately finance the continuum of long-term care services in Ohio.

Investing in Older Adults: Demographic and Funding Trends in the Western Reserve Service Area  (6/6/16)

The Center for Community Solutions, in partnership with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging, conducted a study on demographic and funding trends affecting older adults in five northeast Ohio counties and found that while the population of older adults has grown, public and private funding to support services for this population has either stayed the same or shrunk. Unless public and private funding is increased, the gap between need and support will grow dramatically larger and services for older adults will be further diminished.
