Medicaid Institute: Health Policy Basics, Understanding and influencing state health policy
The Center for Community Solutions, in collaboration with the Health Policy Institute of Ohio, will host a regional forum for attendees to build understanding of what state health policy is, how to impact it and learn more about how it can positively affect health.
Attendees will also get to hear from Patricia M. Boozang, the senior managing director of Manatt Health, who is a nationally-recognized expert on ways providers can contract with managed care organizations to address social determinants of health. The event will also discuss the state budget and how policy is being developed to address Cleveland’s lead-poisoning crisis.
