Julie Patterson

Director, AIDS Funding Collaborative

Julie Patterson joined The Center for Community Solutions in December, 2018, in the position of Director of the AIDS Funding Collaborative (AFC), and a Fellow with The Center for Community Solutions. In these roles, she oversees the AFC’s coordination, leadership, advocacy and funding in Greater Cleveland. Julie has more than 25 years of experience in the fight against HIV/AIDS, professionally and as an advocate and volunteer. She has worked with AIDS Service Organizations, in academia, in local public health and consulting. She is also an adjunct faculty member of the Master of Public Health Program in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University.

Julie holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts from Tufts University. She serves on the City Club of Cleveland Health Committee and the Case Western Reserve University/ University Hospitals AIDS Clinical Trials Unit Community Advisory Board.
