
Sofia Dewey has joined The Center for Community Solutions to assist in compiling and communicating the results of the HIV organizational assessment and service landscape mapping project. Her work with the AIDS Funding Collaborative will help strengthen the diverse local HIV services ecosystem by ensuring that the assessment analysis is useful, accessible, and iterative.
Sofia joins the organization as part of the Cleveland Foundation Summer Internship Program, which connects undergraduate and graduate students at local nonprofit and public sector agencies to support community-driven work and professional development.
A Cleveland native, she is an International Relations and History student at Wellesley College in Boston, Massachusetts. As president of the Wellesley College Ukrainian Cultural Association, she regularly participates in international policy and advocacy conferences, organizes cultural events, and works to foster community-building in the greater Boston area.

Most recently, Dewey served as a Policy and Research Fellow at the Safe House Project, a national non-profit organization that partners with the Woolf Group to develop strategic solutions to eradicate human trafficking. Her research focused on the standardization of best practices for trafficking survivors in healthcare and welfare systems and advocacy efforts in vulnerable communities. Dewey is passionate about contributing to the development of social infrastructure designed to address service gaps and increase accessibility to community services.
