Alex Dorman joined The Center for Community Solutions as a research associate in March 2021. He has a background in community corrections and substance use disorder research, and previously worked at George Mason University’s Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence and Oriana House Inc. While working at Oriana House Inc., he was the project evaluator on a three-year SAMHSA Drug Court Enhancement grant, and worked closely with the Summit County Drug Courts to evaluate program improvements. He has experience in study design, statistical analysis and data collection techniques including survey design and focus group testing. Alex is currently working on a PhD in Social Welfare at Case Western.
