Nonprofit leaders are expected to make decisions, manage budgets, and provide board-level oversight using financial reports that can feel unclear, unfamiliar, or overly technical—even though finance isn’t their area of expertise and they’re juggling competing priorities across programs, people, fundraising, and operations.
This 90-minute virtual training makes nonprofit financial reports feel usable, not intimidating. In a clear, straightforward format, we’ll break down the core financial statements nonprofits rely on and show you how to read them for meaning, not just numbers. You’ll leave knowing what each report is telling you, what it can’t tell you, and which questions to ask to spot risks early, clarify confusing line items, and strengthen financial oversight.
This 90-minute session is structured, practical, and grounded in real nonprofit examples—no finance background required.
