Annette Iwamoto is the Director of the newly formed Cuyahoga Human Services Chamber. Previously, she served as the first Executive Director at the nonprofit community development corporation One South Euclid, focused on commercial development, community outreach efforts, fundraising, grants programs, and other programming to ensure a vibrant and thriving community. Originally from Tucson, she came to Cleveland through City Year, an AmeriCorps program that improves student outcomes in under-resourced schools. At Providence House she supported fundraising, outreach, program evaluation, government relations, and strategic planning to advance the organization's mission to keep kids safe and families together. Annette was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business 40 Under 40 in 2023, Distinguished Young Woman Award, YWCA Greater Cleveland in 2019, and was a member of Cleveland Bridge Builders in 2017. She currently serves on the Cleveland Heights-University Heights Library Board and other advisory boards. She has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity College with a minor in Human Rights and a Masters from the Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences at Case Western Reserve University, where she earned a Master’s of Science in Social Administration with a Concentration in Community and Social Development.
