The inaugural year of the Policy Ambassador Program marked a powerful beginning! One defined by growth, learning, and meaningful civic engagement. Over the past year, residents immersed themselves in trainings, dynamic experiential learning opportunities, and timely policy briefings that brought local and state issues to life.
What do Policy Ambassadors do?
Through the Policy Ambassador Program, residents gain access to credible, up‑to‑date policy information, and serve as trusted connectors, who break down complex topics, share resources, and bring community perspectives into policy discussions. Each Policy Ambassador plays a key role in acting as a bridge between The Centers for Community Solutions, public policy, and the broader community.
With support from the Saint Luke’s Foundation, the program is expanding and now accepting applications from Cuyahoga County residents and/or employees of service organizations to serve as Policy Ambassadors, with participants earning a small stipend. Priority is given to those living or working in Buckeye–Shaker, Woodhill, Mount Pleasant, and Larchmere.
