The Center for Community Solutions, in partnership with Advocates for Ohio’s Future, will host a webinar this Friday at 1 p.m. about
COVID-19 and its impact on Housing and the Homeless. This webinar will feature panelists including:
– Megan O’Dell, Attorney at the Ohio Poverty Law Center, who will discuss the need for housing/rental assistance.
– Nicholas DiNardo, Managing Attorney, Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati, who will discuss eviction courts opening up, what they’ve been helping people with during this time and what legal aid is seeing in Southwest Ohio.
– Ruth Gillett, Manager of the Cuyahoga County Office of Homeless Services, who will discuss efforts taken in homeless shelters to enhance safety, future capacity/demand and any state/federal advocacy efforts.
– Gina Wilt of the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio, who will discuss state and federal advocacy efforts and what webinar attendees can do to help.
