The Cuyahoga Human Services Chamber is celebrating a busy and effective first year!
The goal of the Chamber is to serve as a strong, collective voice for human services and platform for collaboration and mutual support. But it's not a new idea. Never could we have imagined that within months of starting, we’d be responding to so much uncertainty in the nonprofit sector.
Today the Cuyahoga Human Services Chamber includes over 120 nonprofit members.
These include large social service organizations to grassroots groups, and we continue to welcome in new members each week. In its first year there have been 34 presentations, trainings, and convenings reaching 1,889 people. These events provided valuable information, fostered connections, and elevated the needs of our local human services sector.
Throughout the year, we’ve been building the plane while flying.
