Natasha Takyi-Micah is the Treuhaft Fellow for Health Planning at The Center for Community Solutions. Her prior role was as Public Policy and External Affairs Associate at Community Solutions. Natasha provides expertise on public health issues and how it relates to policy across the state. Her policy interests include infant and maternal health, older adults, and racism as a public health crisis. She advocates for these issues by partnering with local organizations, conducting research, and publishing reports and articles. She has professional experience in both non-profit and governmental settings such as serving as an intern for both former Congresswoman Marcia L. Fudge and the Cleveland Department of Public Health (CDPH). She previously engaged in community outreach as an AmeriCorps volunteer at Northeast Ohio Medical University and Boys Hope Girls Hope of Northeastern Ohio. Her work at CDPH included conducting a qualitative project focusing on strategies to address domestic violence in Cleveland. Natasha holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Sociology from Hiram College, and a Master of Public Health from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health.
