Meet the Speakers!
John Corlett serves as the President and Executive Director of The Center for Community Solutions. Corlett’s career has included leadership roles in both the public and private sectors, including serving as vice president for government relations and community affairs at The MetroHealth System, and as the State of Ohio’s Medicaid Director.
Colleen Cotter is the Executive Director of the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cleveland. She joined the organization 18 years ago. She went to law school to become a legal aid lawyer. She serves on numerous community boards and has received numerous commendations for her excellent work.
Melissa Graves serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Journey Center for Safety and Healing, and is Co-Chair of the United Way of Greater Cleveland Council of Agency Executives. Melissa has more than 20 years of experience providing leadership, capacity building and strengthening programs for nonprofit organizations serving vulnerable children and families.
Joy Johnson is the Executive Director of Burten, Bell, Carr Development Center, Inc., and is Co-Chair of the United Way of Greater Cleveland Council of Agency Executives. Joy has worked in the non-profit community development field for over 20 years. She enjoys rebuilding the community she calls home and has worn many hats including HR, Finance, Development and Community Engagement. She considers herself a “dot connector”.
