Hope Lane-Gavin

Fellow, Health Equity

Hope Lane-Gavin joined Community Solutions in July 2019. As a Fellow, Health Equity, she works primarily in the Columbus office on issues including public benefits, maternal health and racism as a public health crisis. Prior to this role, she served as Public Policy & External Affairs Associate at Community Solutions. Hope has also served in the Ohio Legislature, first as a fellow with the Ohio Legislative Service Commission where she worked with the House Minority Caucus and then as a Senior Legislative Aide to Representative Brigid Kelly where she focused on issues like work and wages, government transparency and gender fairness in the tax code. Prior to moving to Columbus, Hope worked in electoral politics in Northeast Ohio, fostering relationships with policymakers at the local, state, and federal levels. Hope is a graduate of Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a graduate of The George Washington University with a Master’s of Professional Studies in Political Management.
